Ying joined Adivo Associates, now Acumetis, in July 2021, contributing to projects in market assessments, market monitoring, due diligence, portfolio optimization, and health economics research. She led cross-office projects in various therapeutic areas, including the annual global market assessment for rare diseases. Ying has over a decade of research experience from top institutes in oncogenic protein kinases, cell signaling, and human developmental diseases.
Ying earned her PhD from the University of Helsinki with honors and completed postdoctoral training at UCSF. She has received multiple awards, such as the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation Reward for Young Scientist and the UCSF Biomedical Breakthrough Postdoctoral Research grant. Her work was published in top biomedical journals. At UCSF, Ying interned at UCSF Innovation Ventures, assisting in the commercialization of discoveries and developing early-stage translational ideas, while building connections with biotech entrepreneurs and investors in the San Francisco Bay Area.
