Marisol joined Adivo, now Acumetis, in 2017 as a Senior Consultant. She worked across different therapeutic areas, including autoimmune, hematology, oncology, and bone. Her work includes market analysis, competitive assessments, and opportunity and strategic assessments. Prior to joining Adivo, she integrated five international teams in Colombia, the US, France, the Netherlands, and Italy, covering the areas of biomaterials, molecular imaging, chemistry, and tissue engineering.
Marisol worked closely with professionals from different biotechnology areas, including industry, prescribing physicians, and clinical investigators, giving her the ability to understand their priorities and address their operational and strategic needs. She participated in national and international conferences and published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. Marisol holds a PhD in medical and biological engineering from the University Sorbonne Paris-Cité. During her doctoral research at the Laboratory for Vascular Translational Science (LVTS), she acquired knowledge in the fields of biomaterials and cardiovascular research.
