About Mike
Mike Blackney is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality client solutions, first-class deliverables and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. He has extensive experience leading global strategic and tactical market access projects in support of pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies across the product lifecycle.
Mike has worked with seven of the top ten global pharmaceutical companies to develop pricing, market access and launch strategies through payer research, landscape assessments, health economic modelling and value communication.
Prior to joining Acumetis, Mike held senior leadership positions at FIECON, Covance Market Access and Medaxial, and worked as a Research Scientist for Trigen Holdings AG.
Mike holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Molecular Biochemistry from the University of Southampton. He is published in the areas of respiratory disease, thrombosis, haemophilia, infectious disease, neurology, ageing and pharmaceutical pricing.
