About Julie
Julie De Almeida has worked in market access, pricing, and commercialisation since 2002, with extensive experience across innovative therapies, including ATMPs and treatments for rare and ultra-rare diseases. Her expertise spans neurology, haemophilia, oncology, and respiratory care.
She has led market access projects at both global and national levels, including designing early engagement plans to establish robust access and pricing strategies, and facilitating interactions with regulatory bodies, clinicians, payers, and patient organisations. Julie has deep HTA experience in the UK and Ireland, including achieving the fastest-ever Highly Specialised Technology (HST) recommendation, and possesses detailed knowledge of NHS England processes.
Julie is passionate about guiding companies through complex healthcare environments to ensure timely patient access to innovative therapies.
