ESG
Environmental
As part of our commitment to advancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in life sciences, Acumetis has established greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the world’s leading scientific standard-setting organization for corporate climate action.*
Our near-term target is to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50.4% by 2032, relative to a 2024 baseline. We have also measured Scope 3 emissions and regularly review them to identify meaningful opportunities for reduction.
To achieve these goals, our strategy focuses on reviewing business travel, improving supply chain sustainability, and optimizing the energy efficiency of our offices through measures such as motion-sensor lighting, energy-efficient appliances, and employee training on sustainability, including responsible energy use.
We also engage our employees in environmental action through global initiatives such as our annual Earth Month challenge. This program encourages teams to adopt practical, everyday behaviors, such as reducing energy consumption, minimizing waste, and making more sustainable choices, while also participating in local activities like litter pick-ups that contribute directly to cleaner communities.
Acumetis’ ESG performance has also been independently assessed by EcoVadis, with bronze ratings awarded in 2025 in recognition of progress and commitment to ESG performance. *

Footnote
*Current Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets reflect commitments established by legacy Herspiegel and FIECON operations. Legacy Herspiegel committed to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50.4% by 2032 from a 2024 base year. Legacy FIECON committed to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2020 base year, and to measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions. Both legacy organizations earned EcoVadis Bronze ratings in 2025. As part of Acumetis’ global ESG integration strategy, emissions targets will be expanded and resubmitted to reflect the full organizational scope.
Social
At Acumetis, social impact is an extension of how we work and engage with our communities. Our efforts are globally aligned and locally led, creating consistency in purpose while enabling our teams to focus on what matters most in their communities.
Our teams actively support education, environmental awareness, and community well-being through hands-on volunteering. This includes initiatives in the U.S., such as our annual backpack drive, which provides students with essential school supplies to better support their learning and readiness for the school year. Similarly, in the UK, teams partner with local schools to organize learning materials and enhance outdoor gardens that support biodiversity and create sustainability-focused learning environments. These efforts are designed to create tangible, lasting value within the communities we serve.
We also prioritize the health and well-being of our people. Through our global fitness and well-being challenge, employees are encouraged to build consistent habits around movement, mindfulness, and mental health, strengthening both individual well-being and team connection. This is supported by a monthly wellness allowance and dedicated volunteering time, giving employees the flexibility to invest in their health and contribute to causes that matter to them.
In addition to our community efforts, we use our expertise to support patients directly. Through our pro bono work, our teams help individuals, often facing serious or terminal illness, identify and access clinical trials worldwide. This includes researching treatment options, coordinating referrals, and helping navigate complex treatment pathways. This allows us to apply our expertise in a way that directly supports patients and their families.
Across all of these efforts, we remain focused on making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. This commitment is part of how we operate, grounded in practical, thoughtful action and reflected in the way we support our people and engage with the communities around us.
Governance
We conduct our business with integrity and accountability, maintaining high ethical and legal standards across all areas of our operations. This approach is supported by a strong policy framework, including our Privacy and Data Management Policy, Code of Professional Ethics, and Employee Handbook, which guide consistent and responsible decision-making across the organization.
We equip our employees with the tools and training needed to uphold these standards in practice. This includes security awareness and anti-corruption training, as well as annual cybersecurity training for all employees, ensuring continued awareness of evolving risks and responsible data practices.
Protecting privacy and ensuring data security are fundamental to how we operate. We safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of information, both physical and digital, through security measures designed to address potential threats. Our approach remains proactive, with ongoing efforts to strengthen our systems and maintain strong standards of data protection.
